DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Despite a strong improvement in the second half by the Marymount men's basketball team, the Saints fell in the first game of their Florida trip by a final score of 77-74.

Marymount will look to bounce back with a quick turnaround at the Daytona Tip Off tomorrow. 

Notable

• Marcus Stubbs was the leading scorer for the Saints in loss, dropping 18 points while going 4-6 from beyond the arc. He added four assists and two blocks to his final statline. 
• Wyatt Hockenberry had 16 in the affair, doing 6-for-10 from the field for MU. 
• Jack Bifano narrowly missed the double-double, dropping 10 total points and grabbing nine boards for the Saints. 
• Ra'Shawn Cook had eight points and six rebounds in the contest. 
• The Saints shot for 50.9% from the field, 46.7% from beyond the arc, in the game, showing strong shooting in the loss.
