WASHINGTON – Led by Symantha Shackelford, Marymount women's basketball cruised past Gallaudet on Tuesday night after putting up 48 points in the first half en route to a 72-40 lead.   

NOTABLE

• Shackelford netted a team-high 18 points and went 3-of-7 from beyond the arc.
• Chandler Eddleton led the Saints with a career-high seven steals on the night. She also went 3-of-5 from the field with eight points.
• Marymount was able to clear the bench as 14 Saints saw action in the victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Marymount scored the first seven points and led 25-13 after the first quarter.
• The Saints extended their lead to 48-23 at halftime.
• MU's pace slowed down in the second half and the Saints ended on top, 72-40. 

UP NEXT

• Marymount will return to Converse for one last home game against Mary Washington before winter break on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 1 PM.
