HARRISONBURG, Va. - The Saints men's basketball team took on the Royals of Eastern Mennonite on Sunday in their first game on the road.
MU ultimately fell in the contest by a final tally of 80-to-67, putting their record at 3-3 on the young season.Â

How It Happened
- EMU started off the game with five points out of the gate, but the Saints answered by scoring 12 unanswered points, capped off by a Cook three pointer.
- The first half continued to go back-and-forth between the two teams, but the Saints managed to put together a strong 6-0 run to go up by six with just over six minutes left in the half.Â
- Stubbs sank a three in the final seconds of the first half to give MU a 40-to-32 lead heading into intermission.
- Eastern Mennonite outscored the Saints 48-to-27 in the second half to take the advantage and the game.Â
