WESTMINSTER, Md. – In the first night of the Rebecca Martin Memorial Tip-Off hosted by McDaniel, Marymount women's basketball used a strong fourth-quarter showing to close out Juniata 63-41 on Friday night. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Ava Achtyl led all scorers with 14 points on the night. She added two blocks and went 4-for-4 from the free-throw line. 
• Terra Dzambo chipped in with 11 points and three steals. 
• After holding a 22-20 lead at halftime, Marymount outscored Juniata 41-22 in the second half. 
• In the final frame, Marymount held Juniata scoreless for nearly seven minutes while extending its lead to as many as 28 points. 
• For the entire game, Marymount held distinct advantages in points off turnovers (25-11) and second chance points (20-7).

• Marymount will play host McDaniel in the championship at 4 PM on Saturday.
