Box Score ARLINGTON, Va. – Aggressive defense and having the hot hand on the offensive end led to a thrashing in a non-conference tilt on Monday night in the Verizon Sports Arena, as the Marymount women's basketball team coasted past Shenandoah University, 74-38, to move to 3-1 for the season.
Fresh off winning the Johns Hopkins Tip-Off Tournament before the Thanksgiving break, the Saints proved that the short hiatus didn't affect their game, shooting 50-percent from the floor while converting 27 Hornet turnovers into 40 points.

McQueen, who was also named the Tip-Off Tournament MVP, continued her hot streak on the offensive end. She shot 6-for-8 from the floor including three long balls, while adding a free throw.
Also hitting double figures in scoring for the night were sophomore Gabriella Haddad and Regan Lohr with 12 and 10, respectively, while Lohr dished out a career- and game-high seven assists.
