GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. — The Marymount women's basketball team dropped a 56-44 decision to Gwynedd Mercy on Wednesday evening at Griffin Complex. Despite a strong effort on the glass and 28 points in the paint, the Saints were unable to overcome a tough shooting night from the field.
NOTABLEÂ
- Chandler Eddleton led the Saints with 19 points and 13 rebounds, securing a double-double while adding five steals and a block.
- Kaylah Barr chipped in nine points and seven boards, while Cara Vollmer added seven points, knocking down the team's lone three-pointer.
- Catie Kolwey made her presence felt inside with 10 rebounds to go along with four points and two steals.
- Marymount controlled the glass with 49 total rebounds, including 18 offensive boards that led to 14 second-chance points.
- The Saints also tallied 12 steals defensively and added 10 fast break points.

The Saints return home this Saturday for Senior Day, where they will look to bounce back in front of their home crowd and celebrate their graduating class. The game will tip off at 1 PM.
