High School: Played for Brighton High School where she was a two-time All-State Academic Team selection, an honorable Mention All-State selection, and a two-time EMAC All-Conference Academic Team selection. She earned First Team All-Conference recognition as she led the team to a conference title. She played club volleyball for Fivestar VBC.

Personal: Intends to major in nursing. She is the daughter of Linda and Jeff Ward and has three siblings, Emily, Camryn, and Maddy.
