A former standout volleyball player at Marymount University, Caroline Hanson now brings her championship experience and competitive drive to the sidelines as an assistant coach. During her decorated collegiate career, she emerged as one of the top all-around players in the nation, earning AVCA All-America Honorable Mention and AVCA All-East Region honors in 2018. That same year, she was named Atlantic East Co-Player of the Year, earned VaSID First-Team All-State recognition, and was selected to the All-ECAC and All-Atlantic East First Teams, while serving as team captain.

Hanson led the NCAA in triple-doubles (7) in 2017, showcasing her ability to impact every facet of the game. Throughout her career, she collected multiple all-tournament honors, conference weekly awards, and was twice nominated for Marymount Female Athlete accolades, including Female Athlete of the Year (2018). She was also named Marymount Women’s Volleyball MVP in 2017.

Statistically, she capped her senior season with 340 kills, 54 service aces, 290 digs, and 49 total blocks across 90 sets. Over four seasons, she amassed 958 kills, 1,471 assists, 171 service aces, 1,067 digs, and 199 total blocks—demonstrating exceptional versatility as both an offensive and defensive force.
