Cecilia Pogue joined the Marymount University women’s soccer staff as a graduate assistant for the Fall 2025 season.

A Woodbridge, Va. native, she grew up playing for NVSC and competed in four years of varsity soccer at Seton School, where she was a team captain, played primarily at right wing with an offensively driven style, and emphasized teamwork and creativity.

Pogue earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas. While there, she served as a youth psychosocial group leader, gaining valuable experience supporting young people’s mental and emotional well-being, skills she plans to bring to her role with the Marymount women’s soccer team.

She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at Marymount. Passionate about fostering both athletic and personal growth, she strives to help student-athletes develop their skills, confidence, and character on and off the field.
