Rachel Crawford enters her fourth year on the sidelines with MU women's lacrosse as an assistant coach under head coach Kate Athing.
She spent two seasons as the graduate assistant coach for the Marymount program before moving into the title of assistant prior to the 2022 season.
Crawford spent her playing days at The University of Tampa, where she played in 65 games, starting 56, including starting 18 games, each, in her junior and senior seasons.
She set career highs with 62 points, 37 assists, 25 goals, 21 ground balls, and 12 caused turnovers as a junior. Crawford earned a spot on the All-Sunshine State Conference first team as a junior, while also being named to the All-SSC second team in her senior season.
Crawford finished her career with 171 points, 97 assists, and 74 goals.
Crawford had prior coaching experience before coming to Marymount, working with the Integrity Lacrosse Club from 2016-2019 and the East Tampa Lacrosse Club in 2018.
