White came to Arlington after previously spending six years as the head women’s basketball coach at Ursinus College. She led the Bears to their first conference playoff appearance in six years during the 2017-18 season. The following year, she led the squad to its first conference playoff win in 12 years and advanced all the way to the Centennial semifinals, finishing the year with an impressive 17-10 record.

She coached eight All-Conference selections, two All-Region honorees, a Mid-Atlantic Region and Centennial Rookie of the Year, and a Centennial Defensive Player of the Year while at Ursinus.

Prior to Ursinus, White spent time as an assistant coach at Case Western, Vassar, and Elmira. While at Vassar, she helped earn the Liberty League Coaching Staff of the Year after leading the program to a program-record 21 wins in 2012-13. She also coached in the NCAA Tournament and mentored a First Team All-American while with the Brewers. While at Elmira, White earned a master’s degree in general education.

A standout guard at Gettysburg College, she saw action in 102 games during her career and still ranks seventh in program history for career three-pointers (118). She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Gettysburg with a BA in Sociology and a minor in Spanish.

A native of Burke, Va., White grew up visiting Marymount’s campus and spending time in the athletics department as her mother worked as the long-time director of the student health center. White was introduced to basketball by former Marymount athletic director and head women’s basketball coach Bill Finney while attending MU summer camps and basketball games.

While in college, she spent her summers competing in leagues that ran out of Marymount.
