He lettered in baseball at Thomas S. Wootton, was an All-MET Honorable Mention, and played club ball for Silver Spring Thunder Bolts.

Personal: Intends to major in Business Administration with a minor in Sports Management. He is the Son of Richard and Tamara Mariani and has two siblings: Josh and Kaitlin.
