Amelia Trotter enters her second season as a graduate assistant softball coach at Marymount in 2023.

In Marymount’s first season of softball, Trotter coached four All-Conference selections and one NFCA All-Region honoree (Samantha Cinotti). Cinotti also earned a place on the VaSID All-State Second Team.

A Cum Laude graduate of Salisbury University in 2019, Trotter was a four-year member of the powerhouse Seagull softball program. She graduated with 73 career hits, nine home runs, and 57 RBI. She was named to the First Team All-CAC as a senior. Trotter helped the Seagulls reach a pair of NCAA Tournaments during her tenure.

Outside of her NCAA career, Trotter played and coached for the Leksand Baseball and Softball Club in Leksand, Dalarna, Sweden. As a player, she helped the team earn a national championship in 2019. As a coach, Trotter was tasked with guiding the club's U-19 junior team. She was responsible for all aspects of the program.

Trotter graduated from Salisbury in May 2019 with degrees in Psychology and Music.
