Cardenas enters his third season as a men's soccer assistant coach, while entering his second year as the program's Graduate Assistant. Cardenas spent last season as an Undergraduate Assistant Coach, following a four-year playing career with the Saints.

"I'm excited to announce that Chris Cardenas will become our graduate assistant for the next two years," Head Coach Nate Kalin said. "As a recent alum, Chris has a unique perspective of where the program was and where it is now going. He is eager to learn and contribute and has quickly become an asset to the team."

He played in 67 games, starting 42, in the Blue and White; he tallied eight career points on three goals and two assists.
