Before Marymount: Lettered in baseball and wrestling at The Winchendon School and played club baseball for the New England Razorbacks. Was on the honor roll in High School and Massachusetts Gold Seal of Biliteracy earner. He was also a wrestling State Place Winner. 

Personal: Intends to major in Pre-Physical Therapy. He is the son of Dave and Khela Thorne and has one sibling: Madeline.
