WINCHESTER, Va. — Marymount lost to Shenandoah 4-0 on Wednesday. The Saints took six of their eight shots after halftime, but Shenandoah scored all four goals in the second half.

MU kept Shenandoah off the board through the first half, with Adam Elonai saving Luke Shearer's shot at 13:41 and a team save denying Gabe Wahdan at 16:54. Earlier, the Saints earned two corner kicks in a short stretch, and Chad Thrash later put a shot on goal that Aidan King-Miller saved in the 29th minute. Shenandoah hit the top woodwork in the 40th minute, but Marymount reached halftime tied 0-0.

The Saints generated their second-half push from 66:54 to 72:55 while down 1-0, taking four shots, including two by Erick Shoetter-Rojas and a Nour Serrou attempt off the top woodwork. Earlier, Shenandoah converted a penalty kick at 46:48, but Marymount kept the margin at 1-0 through a sequence that included a Shenandoah corner kick and three shots from 54:45 to 64:24. Shenandoah added goals at 74:48, 86:31 and 87:58 after the Saints' pressure, and MU fell 4-0.
