ARLINGTON, Va. — Marymount put together a dominant all-around performance Wednesday evening at Long Bridge Park, overwhelming Immaculata in a 19-3 victory behind a high-powered offensive showing and a stifling defensive effort.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Marymount wasted no time asserting control, opening the contest with a relentless scoring surge. Natalia Ortiz netted the game's first goal, sparking a 5-0 run that set the tone early. The Saints closed the first quarter up 7-1, firing on all cylinders offensively while limiting Immaculata's opportunities. The momentum carried into the second frame as Marymount continued to push the pace. Balanced scoring and strong ball movement extended the lead to 12-3 at halftime, with the Saints capitalizing on turnovers and controlling possession. Coming out of the break, Marymount maintained its intensity. The Saints added three more goals in the third quarter and never allowed Immaculata to find any rhythm offensively. In the final frame, Marymount sealed the performance with four additional goals, cruising to the 19-3 conference win.

- Tess Valentino matched with five goals and one assist. Valentino's lone assist pushed her to 200 career points.
