ARLINGTON, Pa. -- Marymount University women's softball team stayed home this sunny Saturday to take on conference opponent, Saint Elizabeth. The double panned out in favor of the Saints, with the team winning game one 7-0 and game two 9-1.
MARYMOUNT 7 SAINT ELIZABETH 0
- Gracie Himmelman led the offense with a big day at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI, and two stolen bases, consistently creating scoring opportunities at the top of the lineup
- Kaylee Atkins powered the middle of the order, finishing 2-for-3 with a home run and a game-high 4 RBI to drive in runs in key moments
- Haley Greer delivered extra-base production, going 2-for-4 with a double and scoring twice while helping spark multiple innings
- Samantha Richtol contributed with a hit and set the table for run-scoring plays, including advancing into scoring position during rallies
- Mady Archer added an RBI knock and contributed offensively while also covering center field defensively
- Haylee Carpenter worked a walk and scored a run from the leadoff spot, helping initiate offensive pressure
- Valeria Gutierrez De Oliveira played a role in run production, helping bring runners home during a scoring sequence
- Tara Corcoran contributed defensively and helped support the offense during Marymounts multi-inning scoring stretch
- Ashleigh Mannion added depth to the lineup and helped keep innings alive from the lower half
- Bailey Demusz dominated in the circle, tossing a complete-game shutout with 7 strikeouts while allowing just 4 hits and 1 walk in a commanding performance
- Marymount totaled 11 hits and 7 runs, scoring in four different innings in a complete team effort offensively and defensively

- Haley Greer contributed in the middle of the order, helping keep innings alive and adding to Marymounts balanced offensive attack
- Kaylee Atkins provided production in the cleanup spot, helping drive in runs as part of the teams nine-run performance
- Grace Gilbert added depth offensively and helped extend innings from the middle of the lineup
- Valeria Gutierrez De Oliveira played a role in run production, contributing to Marymounts ability to capitalize with runners on base
- Samantha Papp supported the offense and helped maintain pressure throughout multiple scoring innings
- Tara Corcoran contributed defensively at third base while also playing a role in sustaining offensive momentum

- Emma McCormack was dominant in the circle, throwing a complete game while allowing just 1 run on 4 hits with 6 strikeouts to control the game from start to finish
- Marymount totaled 13 hits and 9 runs, scoring in four different innings and capitalizing on strong situational hitting in a complete team win
