Winchester, Va. -- Marymount's men's volleyball team battled on the road this Tuesday evening against Shenandoah University. The game ended with a 3-0 sweep for the Saints, giving them a win to add to their season.
The win gives the team an overall record of 14-10 overall and keeps their conference record of 2-2.
NOTABLE
- As a team, the Saints dominated over Shenandoah University in all statistical categories except digs.
- The team out served their opponent in aces 8-0, showing their offensive domination.
- Marymount doubled their opponents point count, with the Saints logging 51 versus the Hornets clocking in 25.
- With 37 kills and six blocks, the Saints dominated at the net.
- First-year Keenan Henry was tonights kill leader with eleven.
- Three Saints all logged two aces: Keenan Henry, Callen Wolf, Diego Peña.
- Similarly, three Saints dominated at the net with blocks: Seth Richards, Callen Wolf, Bryce Schkeeper.
- As usual, Diego Peña dominated with 29 assists and six digs.
- All three sets were won by the Saints, each coming down to a matter of points.
- Set one played out 25-20, set two was 25-19, and the final set was won with a score of 25-22.
