ARLINGTON, Va. -- Marymount's men's basketball stayed home this Wednesday evening, looking to claim another win against Neumann University. After a one point victory earlier in the season, this rematch came to another close game with a final score of 58-54 in favor of the Saints.
The win puts the Saints a 12-7 record overall and push them to an eleven game winning streak.
NOTABLE
- Anthoney McClary led an excellent offensive performance this evening and earned a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds.Â
- CJ Highsmith Jr. also dominated with 14 points and nine rebounds.
- Defensively, CJ Highsmith Jr secured six blocks.
- Anthoney McClary was tonights playmaker with five assists.Â
- Ronier Peters had an amazing performance with 10 rebounds and nine points.Â
- In this first half, the two teams were neck-and-neck, with the largest lead being only four points.
- Half one closed out with a one point lead from the Saints, 32-31.Â
- In half two, the Knights initially had a small breakaway of six points and led 37-31.
- Â The Saints came back with multiple shots and a three-pointer Mande by Anthoney McClary gave them a 40-39 lead.Â
- Half two ended with a win for the Saints, 58-54.Â
