OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Marymount's men's volleyball continued their away streak this Thursday evening as they faced off at Stevenson University. This match was their fifth of the season, one that ended in a loss for the Saints. The 2-3 match was hard fought and gives the Saints a 1-4 record.
NOTABLE
- The Saints won the first the first two sets 25-19 and 25-22.
- Going toe-to-toe, the team lost set three by only two points in extra points (26-24).
- With the Saints still up 2-1, they fell in the fourth set during extra points, with Stevenson winning 29-27.
- Stevenson won the match in the final set, 15-13.
- As a team, Marymount led in digs (50) and tied with Stenson in aces (nine).
- Sam Cook was tonight's offensive leader, striking down 20 kills.
- Diego Pena led the Saints in assists with 41 and aces with three.
