BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- Marymount's men's basketball team traveled to the Big Apple this weekend to face off against conference opponent, Pratt. This Saturday afternoon game was the team's fourth conference match up, one that ended with a win for the Saints. This victory marks the teams sixth win in a row and keep them undefeated in conference play.
The win puts the Saints a 7-7 record overall and 4-0 in conference.
NOTABLE
- James Bell was on fire this Saturday, downing 23 points.
- Bell went an impressive 7-8 in FG and 4-5 in three-point attempts.
- CJ Highsmith Jr. was a defensive wall, accumulating four blocks.
- Jerome Lowrey totaled the game high for rebounds with nine.
- Both James Bell and Joshua Hughes were the best shooters at the free throw line, going 5-6.
- In the first half, the Saints started to break away with a lead over 10 points with four minutes left in the half.
- A free throw by Brian Poore gave the Saints a 10 point lead, which only grew.
- By the end of half one, a three point shot made by Max Pearcy gave the Saints a 19 point lead going into halftime.
- The gap was never closed in the second half.
- With a minute remaining, a three point shot made by James Bell gave the Saints a 20 point lead over Pratt.
- The game ended with a final score of 75 Saints, 48 Pratt.
