LANCASTER, Pa. -- Marymount women's tennis placed a trio on Atlantic East All-Conference Teams, announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning, with Hana Kimmey earning Atlantic East Player of the Year.

Hana Kimmey - Player of the Year - First Team Singles - First Team Doubles

Kimmey had a historic season for the Saints after transferring to Marymount, earning Player of the Year and notching First Team in both singles and doubles

The graduate student went 12-1 overall on the year, including a 10-0 mark at the #1 singles spot. In the AEC, she went 2-0 at #1 singles.

In doubles, she combined for a 9-3 overall record with her teammates, including 2-0 in conference action.

Nikhita Simhambhatla - First Team Singles - First Team Doubles

Simhambhatla went a perfect 12-0 across the year, 3-0 at #1 singles and 9-0 at #2 singles, to impress in her lone season as a Saint. She posted a perfect 3-0 record in AEC action.

In doubles, she combined for an 8-4 overall record, posting a 2-1 doubles record in the Atlantic East.

Avery DeFazio - Second Team Singles

DeFazio notched a spot on the All-Conference Second Team for the Saints.

Going 5-3 overall on the season, she was perfect at #2 singles with a 2-0 record, 3-3 at the #3 spot.

This is the third season in a row the junior has earned a spot on All-Conference Teams.
