Arlington, Va. -- Marymount men's volleyball closed out their 2024-25 regular season at home against Messiah University this Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Marymount's team leaders in kills (10), aces (2), and assists (16) was Diego Pena.
- Seth Richards dominated at the net with two blocks.
- Jonathan Pickering was the Saint's leader in digs, racking up five.
- In set one, the Saints lost the first point and were unable to catch up.
- Set one closed off with a score of 25-17 in favor of the Falcons.
- In set two, Marymount claimed the first point.
- The Saints kept this momentum going, with a kill by Seth Richards securing a 3-1 lead.
- This was lost, as the Falcons regained their lead at 4-3 and kept it throughout the set.
- Set two ended in favor of Messiah 25-18.
- Set three was a close set, with the lead changing multiple times.
- Marymount took a lead at 8-7 with an error on the Falcon's side.
- A kill by Gavin Po maintained the Saints lead, pushing it to 9-8.
- A bad set by the Falcons gave the Saint's another lead of 14-13.
- A kill by Jonathon Pickering tied the Saints up 16-16.
- By the end of set three, the set was tied up 25-25.
- Despite putting up 26 points, the Falcons came out on top, winning set three 28-26.
