Union, N.J.-- Marymount men's volleyball had a hard weekend with their second 3-2 loss, this time against Kean University.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Marymount's hard fought battles have not gone unnoticed, with various athletes sticking out.
- Estenban Jauregui was the Saint's team leader in kills, racking up a total of 16 throughout the match.
- Nickolas Blose, Luke Pogue, and Evan Cao all claimed one ace.
- Seth Richards was a beast at the net, with five blocks.
- Diego Pena did what he does best, accounting for 31 assists.
- Jonathon Pickering led the Saints with 14 digs, his teammate Owen Pickett was not far behind with 13.
- As a team, Marymount had more points, kills, aces, assists, and digs then Kean.
- Set one was quite the nail bitter, with Marymount claiming the first point.
- After point one, Marymount lost the lead to Kean and did not reclaim it until point 15.
- A kill by Seth Richards gave Marymount their biggest first set lead of 18-14.
- Kean worked their way back up, winning the set 26-24.
- Set two mirrored set one, this time with Marymount winning 25-22.
- In a similar fashion, set three panned out as a close match, with Kean ultimetly winning 25-20.
- With the Saints not trailing by one point, they locked in to win set four.
- A kill by Seth Richards gave Marymount the lead, a lead they kept the entire set.
- The Saints won set four 25-17.
- In tie-breaking set five, the Saints fell short 15-9.
