Lexington, Va. -- Marymount's track and field team ran laps around their competition this past weekend in the W&L Carnival event. This marks the team's sixth event of the year, and they begin to gear up for their seventh next weekend. 

NOTABLE RESULTS

• Ilana Hawkins ran a 13.37 in the women's 100m dash, earning her 13th place.
• Similarly, Ilana Hawkins earned 6th in the women's 200m dash with a time of 26.04.
• Madeleine Pare earned 13th in the women's1500m run unseeded, with her teammate Abby Hughes not far behind, earning 15th. 
• In second place, Brier Amerlinck ran a 39:06.81 in the women's 10000m run.
• Madeleine Pare ran to third place in the women's 3000m steeplechase with a time of 3:33.28.
• Another Saint second place run came from Deziree Conklin, who ran a 15.32 in the women's 100m hurdles. 
• Deziree Conklin also earned 4th place in the women's long jump with a jump of 5.16m.
• Both Isabella Rivera and Shayla Wynder earned top 15 in the women's shot put, with Rivera placing 11th with a 9.69m throw and Wynder placing 14th with a 8.79m throw. 
• Shayla Wynder made another top 15 appearance in women's javelin throw, with a throw of 24.53m earning her 13th. 
• For the men, Reuben McEachern ran to 11th place in the men's 400m dash with a time of 52.20.
• Cameron Parvizian earned eight place with a time of 36:38.24 in the men's 10000m run.
• Marcone Pessoa jumped into eighth place in the men's long jump with a 6.23m distance.
