ARLINGTON, Va. -- Marymount men's lacrosse matched up with the University of Hartford on Wednesday evening in front of the home crowd, dropping the affair by a final score of 15-4.

With the loss, the Saints now sit at 5-2 overall on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Kai Goo gave the pass to Bryan Maguire, sinking the goal, to open the contest and give the Saints an early advantage.
• The Hawks scored five unanswered before Marymount answered with a goal from Ian Fructuoso to try to push momentum back to the Saints' bench.
• Down 9-2, Fructuoso sank his second of the day, hoping to spark life into the Marymount offense.
• Down the stretch, Robert Kirkland IV managed to net a goal, but Hartford ultimately held the Saints at bay.
• Grant Gallaway caused a turnover while picking up a trio of ground balls.
• Mason Vandawater picked up three ground balls for the Saints.
• Spencer Carfang caused two turnovers, adding a pair of ground balls.
• Jacob Brooks swatted away 11 saves for the Saints.
• Austin Bergey went 3-4 in his faceoff opportunities.
