Frederick, Md. -- Marymount men's volleyball picked up a victory over Hood College this Saturday, winning 3-1 over the Blazers. In the Saints competition against Misericordia University, they fell short 3-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- As a team, the Saints dominated in points, kills, aces, assists, and digs.
- The Saints boasted 10 aces.
- Jonathan Pickering led both teams in the most amount of kills, boasting 15.
- Notably, Carter Gresham led the team with 34 assists, exactly double Hood's team leader in this same category.
- The three highest serving Saints with aces were Ethan Frank (3), Carter Gresham(2), and Jonathan Pickering (2).
- In the first set, the Saints picked up the first point with a kill by Seth Richards.

- In the first set, Marymount stayed in the match, and took the lead with a kill by Luke Pogue.
- The first set closed in favor of Misericordia, with a final score of 25-17.
- A kill from Esteban Jauregui boasted the Saints to a 7-4 lead.
- Ethan Li's kill kept the Saints in the lead.
- Despite a great performance in the second set, the Saints fell short 25-20.
- The grit came out in the third set, and Marymount secured a three point victory of 25-23.
- Standing at 1-2, Marymount trailed for the majority of the fourth set until two kills by Diego Pena tied up the game 24-24.
- These kills were answered by Misericordia, and this set closed out 26-24.
