Salem, Va. -- Marymount University's track and field team recently showcased their talent at the Joe LaRocco Invitational, where over 15 Saints achieved personal bests. Notably, three athletes recorded their season bests, highlighting the team's continued growth and strong performance in the early stages of the season.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- Sophomore Emerson Aber placed in the top 20 with PR of 8.66 in the 60m.
- Bryan Bivens claimed a top 20 spot in the men's 60m hurdles.
- Deziree Conklin-Boone placed number 15 in the women's 200m, crossing the line at 27.99.
- Madeleine Pare set a personal record in the women's 800m, finishing with a time of 2:32.58.
- Five Marymount athletes finished in the top 25 in the women's 3000m, with Brier Amerlinck leading the pack in 8th place.
- Freshman long jumper Henry McFarlin secured a top 10 finish, jumping 6.28 meters.
