ARLINGTON, Va. -- The Saints played at home this Wednesday evening against Christopher Newport University. After a hard fought battle, the Saints ended in a loss of 82-70 against the Captains.

The loss places the Saints with a record of 1-7 overall.

• Anthoney McClary was the Saints point leader, sinking 13, just ahead of teammate Avery Oduro-Dompreh who finished the game with 12. 
• Reuben McEachern was a difference maker this game, ranking up three steals. 
• Defensively, Jayden Wiggins stepped up with two blocks. 
• Reuben McEachern was this game's playmaker with five assists. 
• It was a close game, with the score being tied a total of eight times.
