ARLINGTON, Va. — Marymount women's basketball opened play in the Puerto Rico Clasico Tournament with a competitive showing at Roger Mendoza Coliseum, but ultimately came up short in a non-conference match up on Thursday evening.
NOTABLE
- Elsa Meysselle led the team with 18 points, shooting 6-of-12 from the floor while contributing four rebounds and four assists.
- Cara Vollmer finished with 13 points, hitting two three-pointers and going 5-of-6 from the free-throw line.
- Catie Kolwey anchored the interior with a team-high 10 rebounds, while also recording seven points and three blocks.
- Marymount totaled 34 rebounds and scored 24 points in the paint.
- The Saints forced 17 turnovers, converting them into 18 points.
