HOW IT HAPPENED

The Saints set the tone early when Nicole Alvarado converted a cross from Lexa Swekosky in the 17th minute to take a 1-0 lead. Marymount extended its advantage late in the first half as Elinda Carballo buried a header off a feed from Arianna Blanco, giving the Saints a 2-0 cushion at halftime.

Coming out of the break, Alvarado struck again in the 55th minute, once more assisted by Swekosky, to make it 3-0. The scoring was capped in the 81st minute when Eliza Diggs connected on a shot from Leila Lajdel, sealing the 4–0 victory.

The Saints' defense once again held firm, limiting Gwynedd Mercy to just four shots on goal and denying any chance of a late push.
