ARLINGTON, Va. -- The Saints closed out their regular season on Wednesday evening with a hard-fought home matchup against conference-leading Neumann. Despite a strong effort, the Saints came up just short, falling 3- 2.
With the loss, the Saints finish the regular season 8-7-4 overall and 4-2-1 in conference play. They now turn their attention to the Atlantic East Conference Tournament, entering postseason competition as the No. 3 seed.
NOTABLE
	- Freshman Michah Vogler scored less than a minute after being subbed in, finishing a beautiful cross from Matias Minguillo which gave the Saints their first goal of the game in the second half. 
- Jefferson Lopez Coreas tied up the game by launching an absolute rocket from way outside of the box into the back of the net in the 76nd minute. 
- Marymount and Neumann went toe-to-toe in shots with Marymount logging one more shot (21) then their opponent.  
- Forward Jefferson Lopez Coreas led the team with shots (5) and shots on goal (2).
UP NEXT
	- The Saints begin the battle for a conference championship as the number three seed in the conference, which puts them up against number two, Marywood.
