WSOC: Saints Stay Hot in AEC Play

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. — Marymount women's soccer continued its dominant run in Atlantic East play with a 6–0 victory over Centenary (N.J.) on Saturday afternoon at J.E. Reeves Jr. Field. The Saints controlled the match from start to finish, extending their win streak and remaining one of the hottest teams in the conference heading into the final week of regular-season play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Saints set the tone early with an aggressive attack, scoring three goals in the opening half. Arianna Blanco struck first in the 22nd minute, followed by Hannah Driscoll's finish five minutes later. Nicole Alvarado added a third in the 39th minute, assisted by Angela Gomez, giving Marymount full control at halftime.

In the second half, the Saints kept the pressure on. Sophia Diggs extended the lead in the 48th minute before Alvarado found her second of the match two minutes later. Daniela Carrillo-Torres capped off the scoring in the 60th minute, finishing a feed from Lexa Swekosky to secure the 6–0 win.

The dominant performance marked Marymount's third straight shutout and continued their strong form as they prepare for postseason play.

UP NEXT
The Saints continue on the road to Aston, Pa., on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. to play Neumann University in their regular-season finale and final Atlantic East matchup before the conference tournament.
