ARLINGTON, Va. -- The Saints competed at home this Wednesday evening against the
University of Mary Washington. The two teams were evenly matched, but the final result was a 2-1 loss for the team.
The loss gives the Saints a record of 7-6-4 overall.
NOTABLE
- First-Year Gabriel Jimenez scored a rocket of a goal from outside of the box.
- Gabriel Jimenez and Jefferson Lopez Coreas led the team in shots taken with five.
- With only thirty minutes of playing time, Gabriel Jimenez led the team in shots on goal, with four of his previously written about shots being on target.Â
- As a team, the Saints were able to rattle off 19 shots, ten of which were on target.
- Marymount defense was able to hold Mary Washington to nine shots on goal.
- Keeper Bayron Banegas totaled seven saves.
UP NEXT
- The Saints will stay at Long Bridge Park to play on their home turf this Saturday, October 25th.
- Kick off is slated for 2 PM and it will be a conference matchup against Centenary.
