ARLINGTON, Va. -- The Saints competed at home this Wednesday evening against the University of Mary Washington. The two teams were evenly matched, but the final result was a 2-1 loss for the team.

The loss gives the Saints a record of 7-6-4 overall.

NOTABLE

• First-Year Gabriel Jimenez scored a rocket of a goal from outside of the box.
• Gabriel Jimenez and Jefferson Lopez Coreas led the team in shots taken with five.
• With only thirty minutes of playing time, Gabriel Jimenez led the team in shots on goal, with four of his previously written about shots being on target. 
• As a team, the Saints were able to rattle off 19 shots, ten of which were on target.
• Marymount defense was able to hold Mary Washington to nine shots on goal.
• Keeper Bayron Banegas totaled seven saves.
