ARLINGTON, Va. -- Marymount women's volleyball remained at home on Saturday, taking Marywood and DeSales in front of the Homecoming crowd.
Picking up an AEC win over the Pacers, the Saints improved to 3-0 in conference play.
MARYMOUNT 3 - MARYWOOD 0Â
- Johanna Modica led the Saints with 11.5 points in the three-set win, knocking nine kills on a .318 hitting percentage with a trio of block assists.
- Sabrina Schoeberlein had nine kills, knocking at .318, with a service aces, adding six digs for 10.0 points.
- Hailey LaBonte racked up 10.0 points on eight kills and two service aces, adding six digs.Â
- Elizabeth Stackpole hit at a .412 clip, knocking eight kills with a block assist for 8.5 points.
- Jessica Rothermel (19) and Emerson Aber (13) divvied up the assists in the conference win.
- Ava Humphries led the Saints with 26 digs, with Renae Rohrer adding 10.
- The Saints hit .236 as a team in the decisive win.
DESALES 3 - MARYMOUNT 1
- Schoeberlein stood out in the tightly-contested loss against the Bulldogs, racking up 13.5 points on 13 kills and a block assist. The sophomore added 10 total digs for the double-double.
- Stackpole continued to hit at a high mark, knocking at .455 with 12 kills for 12.5 points.
- Eliana Knaub had nine kills, hitting .292, with a solo block in the night cap.
- LaBonte picked up 14 digs with seven kills.
- Rothermel had 22 assists in the match, Aber adding 20.
- Humphries dug out 19 digs in the final match of the afternoon.
UP NEXT
- The Saints will play four matches at hom next week, starting with Salisbury on Wednesday at 6 PM.
- After hosting Christopher Newport on Friday, they will host Pratt and Catholic on Saturday in tri-match fashion.
