GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. -- Marymount women's soccer stayed unbeaten in Atlantic East play with a convincing 2-0 road victory over Gwynedd Mercy. 

NOTABLE

• Arianna Blanco opened the scoring in the 13th minute with her fifth goal of the season, assisted by Nicole Alvarado.
• Eliza Diggs added insurance in the 56th minute on an assist from Blanco, marking her first goal of the year.
• Mara Dufour earned her second shutout of conference play, finishing with four saves in 90 minutes.
• Marymount out shot Gwynedd Mercy 20-11, including a 9-4 edge in shots on goal.
• The Saints move to 3-0-0 in Atlantic East play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Saints controlled the pace early and found their breakthrough in the 13th minute when Arianna Blanco struck from 30 yards out off a through ball from Nicole Alvarado to give Marymount the lead.

In the second half, Blanco continued to make an impact, assisting Eliza Diggs on a well-placed finish from the wing in the 56th minute to double the advantage. From there, the Saints kept their foot on the gas, generating 20 total shots while limiting the Griffins to only four on target.
