VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Marymount men's volleyball split the day at Virginia Wesleyan University, taking a match from the hosting Marlins in five sets.
With the win on the day, the Saints move to 2-3 overall on the season.
Game One: Baruch 3 - Marymount 0
- Seth Richards led the Saints with seven kills in the first match of the day, hitting at a .143 clip, with a block assist.
- Evan Cao posted a team-high 12 assists with a block solo and a block assist.
- Ethan Li, alongside five digs, had three kills
- Ethan Frank knocked five kills in the loss.
Game Two: Marymount 3 - Virginia Wesleyan 2
- Diego Peña had a staggering 15 kills while hitting .279 with 15 digs and four assists.
- Esteban Jauregui swatted 10 kills with five digs.
- Jonathan Pickering knocked 13 kills in the win, adding 11 digs and a block assist.
- Luke Pogue added seven kills to the mix on a .250 hitting percentage with two block solos and assists.
- Carter Gresham posted up 38 assists in the evening win with nine digs.
