GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. -- Behind a well-rounded performance from the Saints, Marymount men's basketball remains perfect in the AEC with their win over Gwynedd Mercy on Wednesday evening.
MU improves to 9-6 overall on the season with the 78-72 victory, 3-0 in AEC play.
NOTABLE
- Marcus Stubbs and Jalen Mosley each had 13 on the night, each nabbing a steal to add to their line.
- Issac Harris posted 12 points alongside three assists, a pair of rebounds, and a steal.
- David King collected 10 points with four rebounds and an assist.
- Max Pearcy dropped nine on 3-4 shooting from beyond the arc, adding three assists and two steals.
- Reuben McEachern had a team-high seven boards with seven points. He added a team-high five assists.
- Miles Phillips dropped seven with four assists.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Saints jumped out to an 11-4 lead after five minutes of action, capped off by a fast break from Anthony McClary.
- With the Griffins within one, Pearcy hit a big three with under 10 minutes left in the first half to shift momentum back to the Saints' bench.
- After Gwynedd Mercy took the lead for a short period of time, the Saints utilized a run down the stretch, with Mosley sinking a three in the final seconds to take a seven point lead into the half.
- Marymount extended their lead to 10 in the early stages of the defining half.
- After the Griffins clawed their way back to even up the tally, Phillips dropped a three to reclaim the advantage.
- After one more stalemate, the Saints ended the contest with key defense to take the AEC match up.

- The Saints will be home this Saturday, Jan. 18, hosting Marywood at 4 PM for AEC action.
