Box Score 2 WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Marymount women's volleyball finished up their time at the Worthington Classic, hosted by Gallaudet University, on Saturday afternoon.
Falling in both matches on Saturday, the Saints head into next week with a 2-15 record.
Ava Humphries was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Classic.
GALLAUDET 3 - MU 0
NOTABLE
- Elizabeth Stackpole led the Saints with 8.5 points in the first match of the day behind seven kills and three block assists.
- Maya Harris collected six kills with two block assists, adding eight digs, for 8.0 points.
- Katee Stromberg notched four kills and three block assists, with a dig.
- Ryleigh Ward put up four kills with a block assist, adding three digs in the match.
- Eliza Freeman (13) and Humphries (11) led the Saints in the dig category.
- Natalie Bialecki ended the first match with 26 assists to her credit.
LYNCHBURG 3 - MU 1
NOTABLE
- Sabrina Schoeberlein led the Saints in the second match of the day, powering eight kills with three block assists, adding six digs for 9.5 points.
- Stromberg had another strong outing to finish the day, putting back five block assists with six kills and a dig.
- Emily Genau had six kills and three block assists with a dig.
- Emerson Aber put up 10 assists with nine digs.
- Humphries had 17 total digs and three assists.
- Stackpole put back six block assists with four kills for 8.0 points.
- Eliana Knaub had 17 assists and 10 digs in the loss.
UP NEXT
- MU will be back on the road next Wednesday, Oct. 2, taking on Salisbury at 6 PM.
- They will be home later this month, playing AEC foe Gwynedd Mercy on Wednesday, Oct. 23.
