IMMACULATA, Pa. -- Marymount men's lacrosse started and finished strong on Wednesday afternoon as the Saints topped Immaculata 20-12 to open conference play with a win.
NOTABLE
- Jack Williams matched his own program record with 13 points on the day (2G, 11A).
- It's also the fourth time in his career that he has scored 10 points in a game. No other Saint has done it more than twice.
- 11 assists in a game stands as second-most in program history, behind his own 12-assist performance last April against Centenary.
- Bryan Maguire continued to perform well with five goals and one assist.
- Gavin Taylorson and Chris Bochilo also finished with a hat trick.
- Cameron Glass finished the day 16-of-22 in face-offs.
- Marymount was a perfect 17-for-17 on clears.
- Jacob Brooks had eight saves to pick up the win.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Marymount went up 4-0 with an impressive first quarter.
- Immaculata fought back early in the second quarter to cut the deficit to 4-3.
- The half ended with a 6-4 Marymount advantage thanks to a pair of goals in 30 seconds from Williams and Bochilo.
- To open the third quarter, Immaculata actually jumped ahead 8-7 with 7:10 remaining.
- But the Saints struck quickly and scored five goals in 4:54 to go ahead 12-8.
- Marymount finished the game strong with an 8-3 advantage in the final quarter to move to 1-0 in conference play thanks to a 20-12 final score.

- Marymount will remain on the road to take on Cabrini on Saturday, April 6 at 1 PM.
