Men's Lacrosse Powers Past Centenary on Senior Day

ARLINGTON -- Every Saint saw action for Senior Day as Marymount men's lacrosse cruised to a 29-2 victory over Centenary on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Steve Lucchesi started his first career game in goal and allowed just two goals and picked up two saves.
  • Jack Williams led the Saints with five goals and one assists to become just the second Saint in program history to surpass the 200-point plateau (Clark Akers).
  • Paul Vey added two goals and an assist. He now stands at 94 career points, six away from becoming the 20th member of Marymount's 100-point club. He would join Williams and Gavin Taylorson as current members.
  • With Vey's helper, he became the 15th Saint to reach 40 career assists, also joining Williams and Taylorson in that category.
  • Taylorson had three goals and two assists to inch closer to becoming just the 8th Saint to reach 100 career goals. He currently sits at 95 with two regular-season games plus the postseason remaining.
  • Scoring their first career goals this afternoon were: William Cate, Kevin Gorham, Josif Mavridis, Steven Noh, and Ben Cooper.
UP NEXT
