Softball Closes Regular Season at Catholic

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Marymount softball finished out their regular season slate on Wednesday afternoon down the road at Catholic University. 

They finish out their second full season as a program with a 18-22 overall record, 8-4 in Atlantic East play.

Notable
  • Kaylynn Johnson had a pair of hits in the doubleheader.
  • Shanyn Burch knocked two hits with a home run on the day. She also pitched 6.0 strong innings in game two with three strikeouts.
  • Sheila Kiernan had two hits in the doubleheader.
  • Jaclyn Burch had an RBI hit in game two of the day.
  • Kaylee Atkins added a hit and a run on the day.
Up Next
  • The Saints will begin their quest for the Atlantic East Title this weekend, hosting Pod B for the Atlantic East Tournament.
  • They will kick off the weekend against Centenary on Friday at 12 PM, before playing Marywood at 4 PM.
