TYSONS, Va. - It was quite a day at Capital One Park for the Saints baseball program.
After celebrating their seniors, Marymount went on to take game one 5-0, with sophomore
Andrew Schaeb blanking the Cavaliers in the hit column. A tight game in the nightcap went Cabrini's way, giving Marymount the split on the day, moving to 20-15 overall, 10-4 in AEC play.

- Schaeb went the distance in no-hit fashion in game one, striking out eight Cavaliers to earn his fifth win on the season.Â
- Bryce Smith knocked his third homer of the season in game two, collecting two hits in the doubleheader.
- Ryan Maylie went 2-for-4 at the plate in game two with a double.Â
- Craig Sodano went 2-3 in the game one win, scoring two runs.Â

How It Happened
Game One
- Marymount got on the board in the third inning, starting off with Leitzel knocking an RBI double, followed by an RBI single from Moffett to give the Saints a 2-0 early lead.
- The Saints plated three runs in the bottom of the fifth to extend their lead, highlighted by another RBI hit from Leitzel.Â
- Schaeb continued to deal until the last out, setting down the order in the final frame to notch the no-hitter, striking out the final Cavalier.
Game Two
- Cabrini got on the board first in the first frame of game two, with the Saints answering in the bottom of the fourth off the bat of Smith, sending a towering shot over the right field fence to tie up the affair.
- The Cavaliers scored twice more to take the decisive lead, sending the Saints to the Saturday split with CU.
