LEXINGTON, Va. - The Marymount men's volleyball team took #2 seeded Juniata down to the wire, falling just short in five sets to the Eagles in the Continental Volleyball Conference Semifinals. 

Notable

• Devon Robinson had 12 kills in the match, adding a pair of blocks and five total digs to his line.
• Esteban Jauregui punched 11 kills on the night with two blocks, seven digs, and two aces.
• Hayden Kerekes hit at a .286 percentage en route to eight kills, notching three blocks and digs, respectively.
• Diego Peña had 11 kills in the tight match, putting up eight digs, as well.
• Grayson Andrews had 42 assists on the night with three blocks and six digs. 

How It Happened

• Marymount came from behind in the first set, using stout offense to put the Eagles on their heels.
• A six-point run gave the Saints a 19-16 lead in the latter part of the first set, followed by a 5-1 run down the stretch, capped off by a kill from Robinson, to claim the early set win.
• Juniata took set two to even up the match.
• Marymount bounced back in the third set of play to take the lead again. Leading throughout, the Saints looked to keep the momentum going into the fourth set.
• The Eagles took set four to force a fifth and decisive set.
• Marymount held tight in the final set of play, but the Eagles ultimately took the match.
