ROANOKE, Va. - #12 men's volleyball picked up a key CVC victory over the Maroons of Roanoke College on Saturday afternoon in three-straight sets.
The Saints move to 17-5 overall on the season with the win, 4-2 in conference play.

- Diego Peña put up a strong day in the match, knocking eight total kills with a block and eight digs for 14.5 points.
- Hayden Kerekes was strong on the net, notching six total blocks and four kills for 7.5 points.

How It Happened
- The two teams opened the match going back-and-forth, but the Saints took advantage of a number of Maroons errors to find themselves with a nine-point lead.
- A kill from Morris put the Saints in position to take the first set at 24-to-14, with MU taking advantage of one final error to take the set.Â
- The Maroons started the second set hot, looking at an 8-to-5 lead over Marymount.
- The Saints began to pull momentum to their side, later going on an eight-point run to take a commanding lead, ultimately winning the second set decisively.Â
- Another strong run in the middle of the third set was the difference maker, leading the Saints to the win.

- Marymount will be back in Converse Family Fieldhouse next Friday, taking on Randolph-Macon in a CVC match at 6 PM.
