ARLINGTON, Va. - The Marymount men's volleyball team hopped back on the court on Saturday afternoon, playing their second straight match in as many days.
After a well-fought battle, the Saints came out on the winning end, 3-1. They now sit at 8-3 overall, 1-1 in CVC play.
Notable
- Devon Robinson led the offensive charge for the Saints in the win, knocking 14 kills with a .370 hitting percentage. He added six digs and two solo blocks to finish out with 18 total points.
- Camden Schulte had 11 kills on the night, knocking a .259 hitting percentage. He collected 11 total points after adding five digs and three assists.
- Mason Moore hit at a .375 percentage, finishing out the night with eight kills. He added two solo blocks to his tally on the night for 10 total points.
- Hayden Kerekes knocked a .500 hitting percentage with seven kills in the match, adding three digs and two aces.
How It Happened
- Marymount led the charge for most of the first set, using 4-to-1 run to close it out with a kill from Robinson being the deciding factor.
- Elizabethtown took the second set to even up the score at 1-1.
- The third set was back-and-forth through the first points, but Marymount used a 8-1 run to take a commanding lead, ultimately taking the third set of play.
- MU took the momentum into the fourth set, holding on to the lead and taking the match in stride.
