WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Marymount swimming program took the short trip down the road to Catholic University for a Pope's Cup matchup against the Cardinals on Friday night. 

Team Finishes

• The men fared well against the strong Catholic squad, falling by a tight score of 108-to-95.
• The women ultimately fell in th team scoring by a score of 152-52.

Individual Top Finishes

• Tommy Wilcoski took the top finish in the men's 1000 yard freestyle, notching a finish of 10:21.77.
• Trevor Cairns finished first in the men's 200 yard freestyle event with a time of 1:51.77.
• Tidawee Srun grabbed the top spot in the women's 200 yard individual medley event with a final time of 2:21.18., while also coming in first in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:09.00.
• Ryan Faherty took first on the men's side of the 200 yard individual medley with his own time of 2:06.72. He also grabbed first in the 500 yard freestyle, coming in with a time of 5:06.36.
• Carsten Hicks notched first in the men's 100 yard butterfly event with a finishing time of 54.78.
• Ethan White grabbed first in the men's 100 yard backstroke, coming in with a time of 55.16.

• The swimmers won't have to wait long until hitting the pool again, hosting a meet with Gallaudet tomorrow, Jan. 14 at 12:00 PM.
• The Saints will turn around and host a pair of meets over next weekend, first with Mary Washington on Friday, Jan. 20th at 4:00 PM and with AEC foe St. Mary's Saturday at 1:00 PM.
