ARLINGTON, Va. – Marymount women's basketball continued its hot start to conference action with a 60-46 win over Neumann on Wednesday night inside Converse Family Fieldhouse.

NOTABLE

• Chandler Eddleton had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. She also matched a career-high with six assists.
• Symantha Shackelford went 4-of-9 from beyond the arc to finish with 12 points.
• Marymount held Neumann to 36.7 percent shooting, including 16.7 percent (3-of-18) from beyond the arc.
• The Saints also improved to 8-0 at home.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Marymount went on a 16-2 run to take a 13-point lead late in the first quarter before ending the frame with a 24-11 advantage.
• The Saints continued their hot start in the second quarter and stretched their lead to 17 points right before halftime thanks to a bucket from Kelly Ceroll.
• Neumann closed the gap in the third quarter by holding the Saints to only nine points. Marymount held a 49-36 lead entering the fourth quarter.
• With 4:39 left to play, Neumann cut the deficit to seven points on a bucket from Terea Hunt.
• But Marymount closed the game by scoring the final seven points to win going away, 60-46.
