ARLINGTON, Va. - Marymount women's soccer hosted the Blazers of Hood College on Wednesday in a non-conference matchup. Despite strong defensive play for the majority of the contest, the Saints ultimately fell by a final margin of 2-0.

• Marymount held the Blazers scoreless in the first half on strong defensive play. 
• Four Saints notched a shot in the match. 
• Hannah Mockenhaupt had two strong saves. 

How It Happened

• In the 44th minute of the contest, the Blazers contested the Saints with a strong shot on goal, but Mockenhaupt made the save to keep the tally at 0-0. 
• MU made one final offensive push in the 84th and 86th minutes with shots from Chloe White and Laney Placido.
